Donna Orange will be appearing in Melbourne

GTA would like to announce that Donna M Orange Ph.D & Psy.D, faculty and supervising analyst at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity in New York, and author of “Thinking for Clinicians”, “Emotional Understanding” and “Working Intersubjectively: Contextualism in Psychoanalytic Practice”, will be visiting Melbourne to run a one and a half day workshop on 8th & 9th of July 2010.

The Joint Conference will be held at St Joseph’s Centre for Reflective Living which is set in spacious grounds in Baulkham Hills, north west of Sydney’s CBD and Harbour. On rolling countryside, the Centre is an oasis pleasantly situated among trees, paddocks, lawns and gardens.

Attending the joint conference is a perfect way of keeping in touch with your colleagues in the somatic psychotherapy community, of being inspired about our work and learning from others in the field and enjoying a weekend of connection and renewal for our practices, our spirit and of course, lets not forget our bodies.
